Roger Reckers, S.E., P.E. – Principal
Experience
Since joining TGRWA in 1990, Roger has been involved in a wide variety of structural analysis and design projects including new construction and renovation of existing and historic structures. His experience includes the structural analysis and design of structural steel, conventionally reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
Roger is a returning lecturer at Purdue University and has been an active guest lecturer at the University of Illinois, Urbana – Champaign and ITT. He was a past president of the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois and has served on the Civil Engineering Bowen Laboratory Advisory Council for Purdue University. Roger received the CE Alumni Achievement Award from Purdue University in 2006.
In 2022, the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois awarded Roger with the John Parmer Award for lifetime achievement in Structural Engineering.
