TGRWA Projects – Lathrop Homes

Things are picking up at the Julia C. Lathrop Homes campus. TGRWA is the Structural Engineer of Record for two buildings in the campus development: the six-story residential building labeled ‘S-101’ and the neighboring five-story residential building labeled ‘S-102.’ Both were recently featured in an article posted on Curbed.com. The structural design for the buildings utilizes two-way post-tensioned concrete slabs and concrete columns supported by reinforced caissons and grade beams. Lateral loading is resisted using reinforced concrete shear walls. Overall, the combined program area of the buildings is 100,000 square-feet.
