TGRWA provided the structural design, working drawings and construction phase services for the conversion of the lower portion of the 52-story office building at 330 North Wabash into a Langham Hotel. The existing building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The project includes the interior redevelopment and conversion of 350,000 square feet of existing space on floors 2 through 13, a portion of the ground floor and portions of two basement levels into a 5-star, 316 room, luxury hotel. Key features include a 2-story lobby area, a 2-story ballroom, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a spa, meeting rooms, new elevators and new entrance canopy.
