Indoor Football Practice Facility University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

TGRWA provided structural engineering services for the $12M new indoor football practice facility on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus. The 80,000 sq. ft., 1-story building is recessed into the ground approximately 8 ft. The steel framed structure includes long-span asymmetrical arched box trusses traversing the spine of the roof. The building features an 80-yard football practice field with an abundance of natural light.
