Congratulations to Marty White & Kim Dunphy for passing the Illinois Structural Engineering (SE) Exam!
Kim joined TGRWA in September of 2011 having graduated with her Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She previously earned her Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Cornell University.
Marty joined TGRWA in June 2012 and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Both Kim and Marty have excelled in developing practical structural engineering solutions for a number of types of building structures. Each are members of structural engineering organizations including the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI).
One of Kim’s current projects is The Shoppes at Laredo where she serves as the lead Project Engineer for the steel superstructure. The Shoppes at Laredo is a new 780,000 square foot retail center located in Laredo, TX and is currently under construction.
Marty just completed his role as lead Project Engineer on the new LondonHouse Hotel at 360 N. Michigan. The project included the conversion of the existing 280,000 square foot Chicago Landmarked “London Guarantee Building” as well as a new adjacent 70,000 square foot, 22 story addition. The project was recently named Best Renovation Project for 2016 by the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois.
Congrats to Kim & Marty on a great accomplishment!
